Chatcrate

Terms

Last updated: 10 October 2026

These terms cover the Chatcrate browser extension, Chatcrate Pro and this website. They're between you and Choodle Ltd, trading as Chatcrate (company no. 17506918, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom).

1. What Chatcrate is

Chatcrate is a browser extension that lets you organise, search and export your chats on ChatGPT and Gemini. It stores your library in your browser only; see the privacy policy. Chatcrate is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or Google. ChatGPT and Gemini are trademarks of their owners. You must also follow those services' own terms.

2. The free version

The free version is free of charge, with the limits shown in the Chrome Web Store listing. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it. You may not resell it, or copy, modify or redistribute its code except as the law allows.

4. When the sites change

Chatcrate reads ChatGPT and Gemini pages as they appear in your browser. Those companies change their sites without notice, which can stop Chatcrate working on a site until we release an update. When that happens, Chatcrate shows "needs update" on that site, and your library stays available in the toolbar popup and in Options. We aim to release a fix within a few days, but we can't promise a time, and we can't promise Chatcrate will keep working with any site indefinitely. If a change to ChatGPT or Gemini stops Pro working on that site for more than 30 days in a row, email us while it's still broken or within 30 days after it's fixed. We'll refund your most recent payment if you made it within the last 180 days.

5. Your data and backups

Your library is stored only in your browser, so we can't recover it. Use Options to make backups. You're responsible for the content you keep in Chatcrate.

6. Support

Support is by email only: support+chatcrate@orderhue.com. We normally reply within 2 working days. We don't offer phone or video calls.

7. Our liability

We build and test Chatcrate carefully, but we can't promise it will be error-free.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If a change affects your next renewal, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then. If you break these terms, for example by sharing a licence key publicly, we may deactivate that key.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.
